MEANS TO REALISE THE AIM OF THE GGPA

The aim of the association should be realized through idealistic and material means. The lectures, meetings, publishing of a journal and a library could serve as idealistic means. The material means should be realized through admission fees, annual membership fees and contributions.

Having had the opportunity to attend the AGPA and IAGP congresses and to learn from the various approaches, Georgian group has become exposed to a plurality of methods in the field of contemporary group psychotherapy. It was a great chance and opportunity for the group members to attend these Congresses. The Georgian group members gained a lot from it. Congress was a very special event in terms of exchanges between group psychotherapists around the world. It gave an opportunity to learn more and to receive the rich experiences, which group members then shared   with Georgian colleagues.  Each member had feeling of belongingness to the big professional family, where the creative spirit of collaboration and interdependence reigned during those days. It could not be realized without the help of AGPA and IAGP.

All members of GGPA are grateful to the AGPA and IAGP and deeply appreciate their assistance.
